Decorating is the last thing you need to do to your puppet. If you wish to, you can take a piece of fabric and attach it around the finger and thumb holes to create a sleeve for your hand to hide behind. Make sure this fabric is not glued over the opening of the mouth, instead up to the back corners of the mouth. The seam of the fabric you may want to occur at the top back of the sleeve so that it will not show from the front. This fabric can look like skin or be an outfit for your puppet. Think of adding tubes of fabric to the sides for arms and then consider hands and feet.

Hair and accessories are what is left for you to add to your puppet. There are no rules for how your puppet should look. Enjoy yourself.

Feathers create a great look of hair and can be cut in half carefully for eyebrows, eyelashes, mustaches and beards.
